Not only was the Milblog conference fun, but I learned a lot about blogging and social media in general.  The most important thing I learned is that I have a lot to learn!

Apparently, I am the only person on this earth who doesn’t Tweet.  I have no Facebook fan page, and I’m told I should change my URL.  So my challenge this week is to implement all of the sage advice I was given at the conference.  Because I am probably the most technologically challenged person in the blogosphere, this endeavor should be interesting.  Hopefully by the end of the week I’ll be begging you to join my fan page on Facebook and follow me on Twitter.

Any advice?  I need it.

  1. hmmmm….
I also don't tweet, and don't have a fanpage on facebook (though i spend a couple of hours a day, on average, using facebook! LOL)

I'm very interested, and will be following your progress as you make these changes!

  2. I facebook and twitter (occasionally — I don't like to overwhelm). I have a facebook fan page in the works for my blog, but have run out of spare time lately. That's a big understatement… I have considered purchasing my domain name, but haven't done more than considering it so far. So I'm a fat lot of help for you, I guess… Happy Monday!

  3. I'm glad you had fun and learned a lot! Good luck tweeting and stuff. I'm on Twitter, but it's hard to keep up with now that I've been blogging.

  4. Oh dear…I don't tweet either and I don't have a Facebook fan page. And considering I have no clue how to do either, I'll just stay status quo. 🙂

  5. I have a twitter account but do nothing with it so if you can figure out what all the magic is around it do let me know! I don't use FB in relation to my blog either. But then I am an aging mommy and was born in the dark ages 🙂 So glad to hear everything is going so well with you.

  6. Thanks everyone! I'm working on it! Got myself a Facebook fan page, and I'm now on Twitter, but I'm still working out the kinks. Stay tuned!
