Earthquakes and aftershocks and hurricanes, oh my!  Mother Nature doesn’t seem to be very happy with the East coast of the United States this week.

This song has been playing in my head ever since I discovered that the rumbling I felt on Tuesday was indeed an earthquake.  Now as we wait to see where Hurricane Irene’s path will take her, I kind of feel like we’re all waiting for the sky to come tumbling down.  So I couldn’t resist posting this song for this week’s What’s YOUR Song Link-Up over at Goodnight Moon.

For those of you on the East coast, please stay safe and be prepared!

  1. I'm in NC, and everyone I talked to felt it. I happened to be driving down the highway and missed the whole thing. Weird, but I really wanted to feel it.

  2. What a monumentous event! Here I am in CA with all my friends and family back in VA… tables got turned ๐Ÿ˜‰ Great song for the week ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. When it rain it pours, hmm? Supposedly we were supposed to feel it where I am at – but either I was napping, or it didn't come out this far ๐Ÿ™‚ Either one could be the case!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog – I am here to return the favor. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. I felt it here in MD. I actually had things fall down and had things break. ๐Ÿ™ I thought once I left CA I wouldn't have to deal with but no such luck. haha My kids were like "Mama, what is that?!" and I said "If I didn't know any better I'd swear it was an earthquake!"

  5. I swear, mother nature is having some serious PMS problems! First the earthquake and now the hurricane. Being in Wisconsin I didn't feel anything (but some people did report feeling it here), I wish I did! Stay safe with this crazy weather!
