  2. We are going to be doing our first PCS this coming spring, where my daughter is going to have to say goodbye to friends. When we moved here, she was 10 months old, but this time she'll be 3.5, so she'll definitely be aware of the changes. I would love to win a book for her. Thanks!

  3. I've got 2 brats, my son is 7 and my daughter is 3. There weren't any big issues when we moved overseas, but I'm thinking there will be when we move back. They love books and I'm sure they would love these!

  4. I have two Navy brats: my daughter, 7 and my son, 6 (tomorrow!). My daughter is an avid reader. She'll read anything she can get her hands on and loves that her dad is a sailor. I would love to get the Piper Reed series for her, whether I win the Navy brat book or not. Thanks for turning me on to these books!!

  5. I have 2 children, age 11 and age 7, currently on our 9th deployment. My daughter age 7 is really having a difficult time. I just purchased the complete series and would love to add this book to it for her birthday in Sept.

  6. Hi, My husband is actually going through Chief inniciation as we speak for pinning! We have 5 kids (4 boys and 1 girl her bday is actually tomorrow!) Our boys play hockey and my daughter figure skates, we are a busy family but always find time for the fun stuff. All my kids are daddy boys & girls, and he's very hands on! I think my daughter especially would love this series! Can't wait…..

  7. My husband is in the Navy and is currently deployed. My 10 year old daughter loves these books. Actually it is one of the few books I can get her to read. Please consider us for the give away. Anything to bring a smile to her face during her daddy's absence. Thanks Chrystal Lewis

  8. Would love to win this for my two daughters who are army brats. We have endured one move last year (they still talk about their "old friends" "old school/house" etc) and many more to come.

  9. My husband is in the navy and currently on a nine month deployment. my 10 year old daughter loves the other books of this series. Actually they are some of the few books she will read. Thanks for considering us for this giveaway. Anything to bring a smile to her face during her daddy's absence. Thanks

  10. My husband and our family were recently transferred for the very first time to a tiny town in PA for recruiting duty. He is also a newly selected Chief and going trough initiation process as we speak. We have two "brats" a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. Our daughter is taking the move hardest being away from grandma and grandpa and leaving her friends behind. We read 2-3 books a night before bed. Maybe these might perk her up a bit. Thank you so much for the chance!

  11. We have 2the military "brats", our son is 3the and daughter is 10the weeks as of last night. This is the first time i have heard of these books and think they would be a great idea to get our son hooked on for when i deploy, and to start reading to our daughter as well. I am lucky to have a son that loves to try and read! He has his bookcase in his play room and I think half of the time he is in there he has a book open rather than playing with his toys. He loves to pick out books and bring them to us through out the day and I think this would be a great addition! Thank you!

  12. I also think that having these books would be great for when our kids get older and have their own families and kids to read to and share their childhood epeeiences with!
