I’ve been blogging for only a few months now, but I have collected quite an extensive and eclectic list of blogs I follow. I read some because of common interests. Some inspire me. Some make me laugh. And some give me my fix for good writing.
Going along with my reading theme this week, I started thinking, what if I could go back through all of these blogs and read their best posts. But that would require a whole lot of time that I simply don’t have. So I’m putting YOU to work.
Do you have a favorite blog post? Maybe it’s a post that showcases your writing skills or one you wrote about something you’re passionate about. Maybe it’s a post that someone else has written, a post that pulled at your heartstrings or inspired you in some way. Whatever the reason, I want to read it.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find that favorite post and add the link below. (If you would like to share a post written by someone else, please make sure you notify that blogger that you are bragging about his or her work.) Leave a comment explaining why this post is so meaningful to you, or don’t if you want your post to speak for itself. This isn’t like some of those other carnivals out there. You don’t have to post something today and include my link on your blog. You aren’t required to visit anyone else’s blog or follow anyone. The sole purpose of this exercise is to share a post that means something to you.
Of course it would be nice to visit some of those other links, because if you choose to do this, you’re probably like me and enjoy a good read. At the very least I’d hope that you choose to visit the person listed above you, maybe leave a comment, and if you like what you see, become a follower. But seriously, no obligations. No offense if you follow someone and they don’t follow you back. No strings.
And like our mamas taught us, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Let’s be the encouraging and supportive bloggers I know we are.
Now let’s get reading!
Well, my post is, I believe, the one that speaks most directly from my heart. In case you do read it, my friend is well and happy and now has a lovely pair of C-cups that I covet…
Oh my… this will take some time on my part because 1)there are quite a few of mine that I really enjoyed writing and 2)I forget more than half of the ones I've written. Hahaha!
Let me think on it and I'll get back to you.
I put up a post about my theory behind why strangers think I (and a lot of other girls my age) look really young. I'm sort of poking fun at Hollywood in the process. And I think it's pretty funny (if I do say so myself)!
Lovely idea, so much great stuff in the blogging community! Thanks for setting it up.

Hi – what a great idea Heather! Here's a fun post about my first night out as a single mom (Prince Charming was decidedly NOT in the house!). http://tinyurl.com/yzz6kw4
Enjoy!

Great idea, I hope it catches on! 🙂
Hey you! There's something for you on my blog 🙂
Hey, great idea! I just linked to my recent post…obviously too tired to do much recollecting. I actually have a series of blogs that I wrote before it was even called blogging, and I will be revisiting them in the coming weeks, but they all have to be transferred from an old computer. Stay tuned…
I have more than one favourite, but I'll choose this: http://chimchum.blogspot.com/2009/01/we-can-have-it-all_6405.html
It's something about my father and I.
And thank you so much for the follow. Funny how you'd pick mine from the long lists of Lady Bloggers out there!
